The series "Stainless Steel in Technical Building Services" is devoted to uses of stainless steel in functional building applications, which, however, help to develop technical service installations into decorative features. The present sheet specifically discusses stainless steel plumbing for the purpose of sprinkler systems and other fire protection devices. Grade 1.4301 is frequently used for the tubing, 1.4581 is a common grade for the deflectors.
