Renovation work at Neuschwanstein Castle

The series "Stainless Steel in Technical Building Services" is devoted to uses of stainless steel in functional building applications, which, however, help to develop technical service installations into decorative features. The present sheet specifically discusses the renovation of the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) system of Neuschwanstein Castle, where stainless steel tubing was used for the heating system. The press fitting technique prevents the risk of fire and is particularly suitable for historic monuments.
