A Conceptual Automotive Design Study

This CD-ROM reflects an investigation into the use of stainless steels in the body structure of
passenger cars. Specifically, it identifies the weight reduction potential in side members and
cross members, which can be achieved by using this group of alloys.

The study was completed by fka, Aachen (Germany) in 2002
